Coaching Certification Levels

AGCC-AG Certified Coach – Level One
General Explanation:
This entry level certification is for the person who has taken initial coach training and has begun to use coaching skills. Their intent is to go on to higher coach certification. AGCC coaches are able to exhibit the ability to guide a client through an appropriate conversation model such as the hourglass or G.R.O.W. conversation model.
Requirements to Make Application:
  • Complete a minimum of 30 hrs. of coach specific training by taking Units 501 (Building Blocks of Christian Coaching) and 503 (Transformation Change) offered by AG Coaching Endorsed Trainers or training from a recognized equivalent.
  • Be presently being coached by a mentor coach holding at least AG Coaching Level 3 (AGCC), ICF ACC or higher certification.
  • Log 15 hours of coaching experience

  • Renewable with submission of a questionnaire indicating coaching activity and a nominal renewal fee

AGAC-AG Advanced Coach – Level Two
General Explanation:
This certification is for the individual who demonstrates at least 50-60% of the quality level of each coaching skill competency required for ICF ACC.

Requirements to Make Application:
Complete another 15 hours (accumulated total of 45 hrs) of coach specific training by an AG Coaching Endorsed Trainer or training from a recognized equivalent.

  • Must log 50 hours of coaching experience
  • Received 5 hours of work with a mentor coach who holds at least AG Coaching Level 3 (AGCC), ICF ACC or higher certification.

AGPC-AG Proficient Coach – Level Three:
General Explanation

This certificate is for the individual who is applying all of the fundamental ICF competencies. While this credential is not the same as the ICF credential of Associate Certified Coach (ACC), the intent is that the coach will exhibit the same level of skill competency as if they qualified for the ICF/ACC credential.
  • Requirements to make application:
  • Must complete another 15 hours (accumulated total of 60 hrs) of coach specific training by an AG Coaching Endorsed Trainer or training from a recognized equivalent.
  • A minimum of 100 hours of logged coaching experience
  • Coached at least 8 different clients
  • Received an minimum of 10 hours of work with a mentor coach holding ICF PCC or MCC
  • Two coach reference letters
